Genny Zero Advanced Red – self-balancing balance wheelchair for active mobility
The Genny Zero Advanced in Red combines self-balancing technology, active body control, exceptional manoeuvrability and modern design in an electric medical device for personal mobility.
Unlike a conventional four-wheel electric wheelchair controlled entirely by a joystick, Genny Zero travels on two parallel wheels and electronically maintains its balance while riding.
Acceleration and deceleration are controlled by shifting the rider's body and centre of gravity. Direction is controlled through the steering system, creating an active and responsive driving concept with a high degree of body integration.
Genny Zero was developed as an independent self-balancing mobility platform and is not based on a Segway PT.
Genny Zero Advanced – premium specification with Öhlins suspension
The manufacturer currently distinguishes between Base, Plus+ and Advanced configurations. Advanced represents the premium specification and includes, among other features, Öhlins suspension and a premium embroidered/quilted seat cushion.
This PT Pro vehicle is presented in the distinctive Red configuration. The red bodywork emphasises the modern, independent design of Genny Zero and deliberately differentiates it from the appearance of a conventional electric wheelchair.
PT Pro does not treat the manufacturer's model level as a rigid equipment package for every customer. What matters is which configuration actually suits the individual user and their intended use. The final Genny Zero is therefore discussed and configured with you before ordering.
Self-balancing mobility on two wheels
The central feature of Genny Zero is its self-balancing platform. The electronic system continuously monitors and corrects vehicle balance, enabling mobility on two parallel wheels.
The system uses a redundant architecture designed for controlled self-balancing mobility.
This creates a fundamentally different experience from a conventional electric wheelchair. Rather than controlling every movement through a joystick, the rider's own body becomes an active part of the control concept.
How is Genny Zero controlled?
To accelerate, the rider shifts their centre of gravity forward in a controlled manner. To decelerate or brake, the corresponding movement is made backwards. Direction is controlled through the steering system.
Genny Zero can rotate on the spot and has a manufacturer-specified turning radius of 0 mm. This manoeuvrability is particularly useful in indoor environments, lifts, shops, restaurants and other areas where space is limited.
Safe use always requires the rider to have the functional abilities necessary to control this active operating concept. PT Pro therefore recommends personal consultation, a test ride and individual assessment before making a purchase decision.
Only approximately 62.5 cm wide – compact for everyday use
The standard Genny Zero configuration has a manufacturer-specified overall width of 625 mm or 62.5 cm.
This makes Genny Zero exceptionally compact despite its self-balancing two-wheel technology and is particularly useful for doors, lifts, indoor environments and tighter passages.
Compared with the significantly wider Genny Zero XR, the standard configuration has a clear advantage where compact dimensions are important. Users who regularly travel through indoor environments and standard doorways should consider this difference when choosing their vehicle.
Urban use, indoor environments and paved paths – but highly versatile
The compact Genny Zero is particularly versatile for everyday mobility, including indoor environments, urban areas, pavements and paved paths.
It is not restricted to perfectly smooth surfaces. The manufacturer specifies a minimum ground clearance of 102 mm and the ability to negotiate obstacles up to 50 mm from a stationary position.
Uneven surfaces can therefore also be used within the intended operating limits. Surface conditions, obstacles, gradients, lateral slopes, weather and the individual abilities of the rider must always be considered.
Users who regularly travel over substantially more demanding terrain should discuss with PT Pro whether the compact standard configuration or the terrain-oriented Genny Zero XR with larger wheels, increased ground clearance and a wider track better suits their requirements.
Öhlins suspension for premium ride and seating comfort
A key feature of the Advanced configuration is the Öhlins suspension system.
The premium suspension complements the active self-balancing driving concept and allows the vehicle setup to be adapted to the user and preferred driving characteristics.
Seat, backrest and transfer configuration
The seating and backrest solution of a Genny Zero should always suit the individual user. Different seating, backrest, side-handle and comfort solutions can be selected depending on the configuration.
The Advanced specification includes the premium embroidered/quilted seat cushion.
PT Pro therefore does not simply apply a rigid equipment package. Seating, backrest, handles, suspension and additional accessories are selected according to individual requirements.

GENNY ZERO MD – medical device for personal mobility
GENNY ZERO MD is classified by the manufacturer as an electric wheelchair for personal mobility and is designed as a self-balancing medical mobility device.
This does not mean that the vehicle is automatically suitable for every user. Physical requirements, safe controllability and intended use must always be considered individually.
PT Pro therefore recommends a personal test ride, assessment and instruction before long-term use.
Genny Zero Advanced in Red – distinctive design
The Red bodywork gives this Genny Zero a particularly distinctive and dynamic appearance. Its clear design language and vibrant colour emphasise the independent character of the vehicle.
The combination of Red bodywork, Advanced specification, Öhlins suspension and premium quilted seat cushion brings together technology, comfort and design in an exceptional mobility solution.
Your Genny Zero is individually configured by PT Pro
The manufacturer offers Base, Plus+ and Advanced preconfigured model levels. With PT Pro, however, your personal Genny Zero is not restricted to these three configurations.
What matters is the equipment you actually require. Before ordering, we therefore discuss seating and backrest solutions, handles, suspension, colour and optional accessories with you.
The result is a Genny Zero configured as closely as possible to your physical requirements, everyday use and personal mobility needs.
Why is Genny Zero available by enquiry from PT Pro?
A self-balancing balance wheelchair should not be selected solely from a product image and an online shopping cart.
Body height, body weight, functional abilities, trunk stability, intended use and required equipment are important factors when selecting an appropriate vehicle configuration.
Genny Zero is therefore intentionally not available for direct online checkout from PT Pro. Send us your enquiry and we will discuss the appropriate configuration before preparing your individual quotation.
Vehicle price and additional costs for Germany
The vehicle price displayed in the shop represents the described Genny Zero configuration. Assembly work required for this configuration is already included in our vehicle calculation.
The manufacturer's international pricing structure is based on a recommended ex-works price. Import and administrative fees, national registration and road-homologation costs and individual services provided by local partners are not included.
For a vehicle supplied to Germany, additional costs therefore arise for import and safe transportation and – where German road registration is required – the corresponding vehicle preparation, TÜV inspection and registration.
Additional costs for Germany
- Import costs from Switzerland: €250.00 net
- Transport box: €200.00 net
- Pallet shipping to the customer within Germany: currently €149.00 net
For TÜV inspection and registration in Germany:
- TÜV/StVZO Kit: €50.00 net
- TÜV inspection and registration: €650.00 net
Individually selected equipment and accessories are added according to your personal configuration.
All costs applicable to your order are shown transparently in your individual quotation before a binding order is placed.
TÜV inspection and registration for Germany through PT Pro
On request, PT Pro organises the required vehicle preparation as well as TÜV inspection and registration for Germany.
The designated TÜV/StVZO Kit is used for the corresponding vehicle preparation and includes the intended components such as reflectors and the licence plate holder.
This process is available to PT Pro customers throughout Germany.
Transport box for transport, future service and repairs
Genny Zero is delivered in a suitable transport box for safe transportation. The box remains with the customer after delivery.
If the vehicle later needs to be transported to PT Pro for extensive diagnostics, servicing or repairs, the existing transport box can be used again.
Following prior arrangement, the vehicle can be safely prepared in the box and collection by freight carrier can be organised.
