Genny Zero Advanced Yellow – self-balancing balance wheelchair for active mobility
The Genny Zero Advanced in Yellow combines self-balancing technology, active body control, exceptional manoeuvrability and modern design in a purpose-developed electric medical mobility device.
Unlike a conventional four-wheel electric wheelchair controlled entirely by a joystick, Genny Zero travels on two parallel wheels and electronically maintains its balance while riding.
Acceleration and deceleration are controlled by shifting the rider's body and centre of gravity. Direction is controlled through the steering system, creating an active and responsive driving concept with a high degree of body integration.
Genny Zero was developed as an independent self-balancing mobility platform and is not based on a Segway PT.
Genny Zero Advanced – premium specification with Öhlins suspension
The manufacturer currently distinguishes between Base, Plus+ and Advanced configurations. Advanced represents the premium specification and includes, among other features, Öhlins suspension and a premium quilted seat cushion.
This PT Pro vehicle is presented in the distinctive Yellow configuration.
PT Pro does not treat the manufacturer's model level as a rigid equipment package for every customer. What matters is which configuration actually suits the individual user. The final Genny Zero is therefore discussed and configured with you before ordering.
Self-balancing mobility on two wheels
The central feature of Genny Zero is its purpose-developed self-balancing platform. The electronic system continuously monitors and corrects vehicle balance, enabling mobility on two parallel wheels.
The system uses a redundant architecture designed for controlled self-balancing mobility.
This creates a fundamentally different experience from a conventional electric wheelchair. Rather than controlling every movement through a joystick, the rider's own body becomes an active part of the control concept.
How is Genny Zero controlled?
To accelerate, the rider shifts their centre of gravity forward in a controlled manner. To decelerate or brake, the corresponding movement is made backwards. Direction is controlled through the steering system.
Genny Zero can rotate on the spot and has a specified turning radius of 0 mm. This manoeuvrability is particularly useful in indoor environments, lifts, shops, restaurants and other areas where space is limited.
Safe use always requires the rider to have the functional abilities necessary to control this active operating concept. PT Pro therefore recommends personal consultation and a test ride before making a purchase decision.
Compact 62.5 cm overall width
The standard Genny Zero configuration has an overall width of approximately 625 mm or 62.5 cm.
This makes Genny Zero exceptionally compact despite its self-balancing two-wheel technology and is particularly useful for doors, lifts, indoor environments and tighter passages.
Customers looking primarily for a more terrain-oriented configuration can also compare the Genny Zero XR with PT Pro. The XR provides larger wheels, increased ground clearance and a wider track but consequently requires significantly more space.
Indoors, urban environments and paved paths – but not limited to them
The compact Genny Zero is particularly versatile for everyday use, including indoor environments, urban areas, pavements and paved paths.
It is not restricted to perfectly smooth surfaces. The standard configuration provides approximately 102 mm minimum ground clearance and can negotiate obstacles up to approximately 50 mm from a stationary position.
Uneven surfaces can therefore also be used within the intended operating limits. Surface conditions, obstacles, gradients, lateral slopes, weather and the individual abilities of the rider must always be considered.
Users who regularly travel over substantially more demanding terrain should discuss with PT Pro whether the standard configuration or the terrain-oriented Genny Zero XR better suits their requirements.
Öhlins suspension for adjustable ride comfort
A key feature of the Advanced configuration is the Öhlins suspension system.
The adjustable Öhlins shock absorber allows the suspension to be individually configured, combining the active self-balancing driving concept with a premium suspension solution.
Seat, backrest and transfers
Genny Zero uses an adjustable seating system. Depending on the individual configuration, equipment can include a height- and depth-adjustable seat, Tarta® backrest and folding transfer handles.
The Advanced specification adds the premium quilted seat cushion.
The appropriate seating, backrest and handle configuration is determined individually by PT Pro. Additional backrest and accessory solutions can be configured depending on personal requirements.
Current software generation 10.2.21

Medical mobility device
GENNY ZERO MD is intended as a self-balancing medical mobility device and electric wheelchair for personal mobility.
This does not mean that the vehicle is automatically suitable for every user. Physical requirements, safe controllability and intended use must always be considered individually.
PT Pro therefore recommends a personal test ride and instruction before long-term use.
Genny Zero Advanced in Yellow – distinctive design
The Yellow body panels give this Genny Zero a particularly distinctive and modern appearance. The vibrant colour emphasises the independent design and deliberately differentiates the vehicle from the appearance of conventional electric wheelchairs.
The combination of Yellow bodywork, Advanced specification, Öhlins suspension and premium quilted seat cushion creates a particularly distinctive Genny Zero configuration.
Your Genny Zero is individually configured by PT Pro
Although the manufacturer distinguishes between Base, Plus+ and Advanced configurations, PT Pro does not treat customer provision as a rigid package system.
What matters is what the individual user actually needs. Before ordering, we therefore discuss seating and backrest solutions, handles, suspension and optional accessories with you.
Why is this Genny Zero available by enquiry?
A Genny Zero should not be selected solely from a product image and an online shopping cart.
Body height, body weight, functional abilities, trunk stability, intended use and required equipment are important factors when selecting an appropriate configuration.
This Genny Zero is therefore intentionally not available for direct online checkout from PT Pro. Send us your enquiry and we will discuss the appropriate configuration before preparing your individual quotation.
