Omeo Off-Road Conversion Kit – convert your road Omeo for off-road use
The PT Pro Omeo Off-Road Conversion Kit allows an Omeo equipped with narrow i2 road wheels to be converted to a wider off-road configuration with only a few conversion steps.
The complete kit combines two black Omeo fender extensions with a fully assembled PT Pro wheel set consisting of 5-spoke alloy wheels and Vee Rubber 21x7-10 tyres.
This provides Omeo users with a practical conversion solution for changing from the compact road-wheel configuration to wider tyres suitable for paved routes and appropriate unpaved surfaces.
Complete Omeo Off-Road Kit including fender extensions
The wider 21x7-10 tyres require additional lateral clearance on the Omeo. For this reason, the kit includes not only the two complete wheels but also the matching black Omeo fender extensions for the left and right side.
The extensions are fitted to the existing narrow fenders of the Omeo. This adapts the fender coverage to the wider wheels without requiring the original narrow fenders to be completely replaced.

How to convert the Omeo to the off-road wheel configuration
The conversion concept is deliberately straightforward. The existing narrow road configuration remains fundamentally unchanged and is supplemented with the components required for the wider wheels.
- Remove the narrow i2 road wheels
- Install the Omeo fender extensions on the left and right sides
- Fit the fully assembled PT Pro 21x7-10 wheels
- Check installation, clearance, secure fastening and tyre pressure
This allows the Omeo to be converted from its narrow road configuration to the wider off-road wheel configuration.
Important: Wheels and tyres are safety-relevant vehicle components. Installation must be carried out correctly. After installation, correct fit, secure fastening and sufficient clearance must be checked.
Vee Rubber 21x7-10 – versatile all-round tyres
The Vee Rubber 21x7-10 combines good performance on suitable unpaved surfaces with very good rolling characteristics on firm ground.
A key feature is the tyre's continuous centre rib. On paved surfaces, this supports smooth rolling and comparatively low rolling resistance, while the remaining tread provides additional grip for suitable unpaved surfaces.
This makes the Vee Rubber particularly interesting for Omeo users who do not require an extreme off-road tyre but want a versatile combination for roads, paved routes and light off-road use.
PT Pro 5-spoke alloy wheels
The two Vee Rubber tyres are supplied on black PT Pro 5-spoke alloy wheels. The tyres and wheels are supplied fully assembled as complete wheels.
This means the customer does not need to source and assemble tyres and wheels separately. Once the fender extensions have been installed, the complete wheel set can be fitted to the Omeo.
Why are fender extensions required?
The narrow road tyres require considerably less lateral space than the wider 21x7-10 tyres. The Omeo fender extensions included in this kit are therefore used with the wider wheel configuration.
The black extensions are fitted to the existing fenders on the left and right sides, extending their coverage for the wider wheel and tyre combination.
A practical advantage of this concept is that the existing road configuration does not have to be permanently abandoned. The Omeo can be equipped with the wider configuration and can later be converted back to another suitable wheel configuration if required.
Road tyres or off-road tyres?
The most suitable Omeo tyre configuration depends on how and where the vehicle is used.
Narrow road wheels: provide a more compact overall vehicle width and are particularly practical for indoor use, doorways, paved surfaces and transportation.
Vee Rubber 21x7-10 off-road configuration: provides wider tyres with a larger contact area and versatile all-round characteristics for paved routes and suitable unpaved surfaces.
For Omeo users who regularly move between roads and suitable gravel, grass, forest or field tracks, the Vee Rubber offers a versatile wheel and tyre combination.
Vee Rubber or a more aggressive off-road tyre?
The Vee Rubber is deliberately designed as an all-round solution. Its continuous centre rib supports efficient rolling on firm surfaces, while the remaining tread provides useful characteristics on suitable unpaved terrain.
For predominantly more demanding, soft or slippery terrain, a more aggressively treaded off-road tyre may be the better choice. PT Pro offers additional Omeo wheel and tyre configurations for different applications.
Effect of off-road tyres on range and handling
Tyres and tyre pressure influence rolling resistance, traction, ride comfort and energy consumption. Surface conditions, rider weight, speed, gradients, temperature and riding style also affect the actual achievable range.
A range figure determined or specified with standard road tyres should therefore not automatically be applied to every off-road configuration or terrain condition.
Important difference from the original Omeo Technology Off-Road Kit
This product is an Omeo off-road solution assembled by PT Pro and is not identical to the original Omeo Technology Off-Road Kit.
The original Omeo Technology kit uses a different wheel and tyre configuration with 20x8-10 turf tyres. This PT Pro conversion kit instead combines Vee Rubber 21x7-10 tyres, PT Pro 5-spoke alloy wheels and Omeo fender extensions.
