Configure your Genny Zero MD individually
This Genny Zero MD base unit provides the starting point for an individually configured Genny Zero. It is intentionally not yet a fully equipped vehicle: the seating system, body panels, side handles and additional components are added according to the required version and individual configuration.
This allows the Genny Zero to be configured according to the user's requirements and preferred equipment. PT Pro assists with selecting the required components and completing the vehicle configuration.
Genny Zero – the current generation self-balancing wheelchair
The Genny Zero is a modern self-balancing wheelchair developed as an independent vehicle platform. It combines a two-wheel balancing system with compact dimensions, high manoeuvrability and user-oriented controls.
Acceleration and deceleration are controlled by shifting body weight forwards and backwards, while the handlebar controls the direction of travel. The self-balancing system allows the Genny Zero to turn on the spot and manoeuvre in confined spaces.
Base unit for your individual Genny Zero configuration
The base unit offered here provides the technical starting point for building the required Genny Zero. The necessary components and equipment options are added according to the selected configuration.
The base unit does not yet include, among other items:
- Tarta backrest
- Body panels and mudguards
- Tube or suspension component for the seat mounting
- Seat cushion
- Side handles in the selected version
- German TÜV inspection and registration
- Components required for the relevant TÜV and registration configuration
Configure Base, Plus or Advance
The Genny Zero is available in different model and equipment versions. Starting from the base unit, the required components can be selected for the desired vehicle configuration.
Depending on the model and configuration, available equipment can include different body panels, side handles, seating and backrest components, Öhlins seat suspension and additional accessories.
Additional assembly work must be considered when configuring a Plus or Advance version. These additional assembly costs do not apply to the Base configuration.
Removable batteries and energy recovery
The Genny Zero uses removable and interchangeable lithium-ion batteries. The removable battery system allows additional compatible batteries to be used to extend the practically available range.
During deceleration and downhill travel, electrical energy can be recovered and returned to the batteries. Actual range depends on factors including user weight, riding style, speed, terrain, gradients, temperature and battery condition.
Transport box for shipping and future service
PT Pro recommends ordering a new Genny Zero together with the dedicated transport box. It provides protection during freight transport and makes it easier to transport the vehicle safely to PT Pro for diagnosis, service or repair when required.
The transport box is considered separately when ordering a complete vehicle and is not included with this base unit.
Genny Zero Fly Kit for air travel
The optional Genny Fly Kit is available for the Genny Zero and is designed to prepare the vehicle appropriately for air transport.
Important: The transport of an electric wheelchair and its lithium-ion batteries must be agreed with the relevant airline before every flight. The final decision regarding acceptance and the required procedures remains with the airline and its responsible personnel.
TÜV inspection and registration in Germany
For configurations intended for use under German road regulations, additional components and services may be required for TÜV inspection and registration. These items are not included with this base unit and are added according to the required vehicle configuration.
Which additional costs need to be considered?
In addition to the base unit, the following items in particular may need to be considered:
- 902.000.761 – Transport box
- 40210 – Import costs from Switzerland
- Selected equipment and additional components
- Where applicable, 40205 – assembly costs for Plus or Advance configurations
- Where applicable, TÜV inspection, registration and required components
- Optional accessories according to the individual configuration
The specific costs depend on the selected equipment and the prices applicable at the time of ordering. The individually prepared quotation is decisive.
Genny Zero consultation, configuration and service from PT Pro
As this base unit does not yet contain all components required for a complete Genny Zero, we recommend consulting PT Pro before ordering. Together, we can determine the required configuration and identify the components needed for the individual vehicle.
PT Pro supports customers from vehicle selection and configuration through delivery to subsequent service, diagnostics and repair.
