The Hoss R1 is sold in Germany exclusively by Frankie GmbH, the fact that PT Pro offers this vehicle online is based on an agreement with Frankie GmbH. PT Pro has the Hoss as a demonstration vehicle at its headquarters in Amberg for test drives with our customers and can also offer it to the customer immediately on order, but invoicing is carried out by Frankie GmbH. Of course, the PT Pro technician team is also available to our customers for advice and assistance with the Hoss as usual should this be necessary.
Function:
The most fascinating thing about the hoss and the key to its intuitive handling is its ability to stabilise dynamically. A comparison with a human being explains it best. If a human leans forward without moving his legs, he would fall on his nose. To prevent the fall, the brain commands one leg to move forward at that moment. So if you lean forward, you inevitably move forward, one step at a time.
The hoss does it the same way, only with two wheels instead of legs. Powerful processors and electric motors take over the function of the brain and muscles.
Safety:
The hoss is composed of an intelligent network of sensors, drive and mechanical support. In its resting position, the hoss is mechanically stabilised by its support. The second the hoss goes into balance, redundant gyro and acceleration sensors analyse the behaviour of the rider and the ground several hundred times a second and balance the rider as if on two legs.
The state of the balance system is permanently monitored by our 100% decoupled and patented support system. This stabilises the hoss not only when parked, but can also extend within a fraction of a second in an emergency and bring the hoss safely to a standstill.
Range:
With its 15 km/h, the hoss will get you around faster than average, which is why you will prefer to do many journeys directly with the hoss rather than by car or public transport. But you shouldn't have to worry about the range.
That's why the hoss can go up to 60 km, enough for a day, no matter what you have in mind.

Thanks to our patented safety system, you'll be safe even in winter.
Reliability:
Only high-quality components are installed in the hoss. The drive motors come from the automotive sector. The specially developed lithium battery is equipped with cells from Panasonic. The chassis is dimensioned like a tank. Should you still need the help of a technician, this is quick and uncomplicated thanks to remote maintenance.

The hoss is a completely new kind of vehicle. Developed from the ground up to meet your needs. Both development and production take place at our factory in Austria.
